There is additional data for each panel that is displayed when a spin is complete and the prize displayed, and when the list of prizes for a group is displayed.
There is a section under the main menu that enables controls in another browser tab. This allows for clean dual-screen use. This functionality blocks much of the main screen's functionality. Try not to mix the two, use one or the other.
Clicking on the left or right side of the screen will cause the wheel to spin counter-clockwise or clockwise respectively. Alternatively, the left and right arrow or L and R keys will do the same.
Panels and people can be quickly removed from the wheel and group list respectively with the checkboxes on the main menu.
There is an option for a "group" to be defined and a person selected for each spin. When this is done, the information is recorded and can be displayed when spinning is done. Spinning needs to occur for each individual listed.
There is a means of allowing individuals to spin the wheel from a phone or another computer. For this to work the external controls must be open.
There is an option there to show the link and QR-code. Someone following that link can select and individual from the group list and spin clockwise or counter-clockwise.
There is no code in place to stop an individual from spinning whenever they want. The expectation is that they have some level of self control.
There are two types of data that can be edited: Panels and Groups.
Panels need quite a bit of data, so there is only a list view available. The panel editor does display a preview of the text, foreground color, and background color.
Groups, defined previously, are simpler. A basic list has the individual's name and storage space for the prize won. Because of this, there is a CSV option available in the editor.
There are two available sounds: metronome and zippo. There is also an option to run SILENT
The code within this project is not minified or mangled to allow it to be examined at any point.
The code and unit tests are on GITHUB, HERE.
